A brief history of the Sangamon Table Tennis Club.

Note: This is a work in progress, please contact us if you can share any information about the club's history.

The Sangamon Table Tennis Club was first formed on Feb 20, 1972. The charter was granted by the USTTA on April 21, 1972.

Locations:

Springfield YMCA, from __?__ to __?__

McFarland Zone Center, from February 20, 1972 to 1974

Washington Park, from 1974 to 1995

Sangamon State University (later changed to UIS), from 1995 to November 2004

Douglas Avenue United Methodist Church, from November 2004 to Present

The Sangamon Table Tennis Club meets every Tue, Wed, and Thu night from 6pm to 10pm at Douglas Avenue United Methodist Church
